Motorcycles are cool and when it comes to motorcycle sunglasses the short answer is they have to do o both. KD's have been around for ever and have basically been making the same style biker sunglasses since the 70's. One thing for sure is they have the most loyal customers in the world!
When a customer asks me what are the best sunglasses for them, I always ask what kind of bike they own and what type of riding they do. I assume they want to to look good (style). Once I know their motorcycle and type of riding, then I can suggest different sunglasses and features (functions) which they should consider.
Because motorcycle sunglasses are really eye protection, I suggest you only consider sunglasses that have the manufactures name on them. This is so important in this day and age of cheap, inferior knockoff products.
To me the most important motorcycle sunglass feature is shatterproof lenses for obvious reasons. Proper fit and comfort are next followed by features like Anti-fog, UV400 protection, lense color, frame design, padding and overall wind protection,
